Backstory: Luxury, excess, praise. All of this Thuron had in plenty as the youngest of the two Dalton brothers. Never having to worry or shoulder the heavy burden of responsibility, he spent his time as a child with every sweet and toy money could buy.

A child prodigy of fire magic, Thuron obliterated the Tor’glen Academy Pryomancy records at the young age of 9. It was not too long after that that his world was turned upside down, as his older brother plummeted down an elevator shaft, shattering his hips, hovering on the brink of death.

Their father, fearing for the succession of the Grand Duchy, stripped the eldest, Horace, of his title and inheritance, giving the mantle of the family to Thuron. A switch flipped in Thuron at that time, from never having to concern himself with administrative duties, to putting full effort into learning his new role.

What his father considered a lost cause, Thuron did not, using his amplified new title to pull every mender and doctor he was able to save his brother’s life.

Now Grand Duke of Tor’glen, he takes his role seriously in a ‘Work Hard, Play Hard’ attitude, for as much as he is in his office, he also spends money lavishly on liquor, cigars, and extravagant banquets.
